So I pray, that as you celebrate,
    You, too, may truly appreciate:
I relinquished all My glories above
    That you may experience redemptive love.
 So open your heart-make room in your inn.
    Let the Christ of Christmas take residence within.
 I’ll give real joy, and a peace that remains.
